Change the padding default?
Hi
I'm really enjoying using Rise. Thanks.
I find that 30pt padding between blocks is too wide and I'm having to edit every block. Is there a way to set the default to "no padding"? j.

Please add my vote for providing a way to change the default padding. It seems like a small thing to do.

I have created a block of each type and formatted each one to meet our style guidelines, which includes setting the padding.
Then I saved them as Block Templates. Now whenever we need to create a new block, we add it from the template library.
Not only is it fast, it also ensures that our team creates consistently styled blocks.

Just padding in general. Header is way to spaced and when you remove author (why is that even a thing) it leaves the white space. Learners just are left confused with all the white. Just need some more power to compress it all especially for smaller screens.

I find it interesting that we, the clients, keep requesting stuff from you all (Articulate) but you give excuses as to not deliver them. I am new to Rise and am super annoyed that I have to go in and keep changing the padding. 30 is way to big. I don't understand why we can't set a default ourselves? I see these requests date back 2 years and still nothing has been done. When will articulate start listening to us?? We are the ones developing course after course, so I am pretty sure we know. This is so frustrating. This is the fourth issue that I have searched for that's "on some list" that never gets accomplished. What gives Articulate?? so disappointing.

Thanks for your quick response, Adam. I understand what you are saying about the balance of white-space and content, and 30 px does work well in many cases. I've just been finding I'm using no padding a lot in a current project and I was looking to reset the default. Here's the difference between 30px padding and no padding in an image and text example (attached).
Thanks, again.

Hi Janet:
I would like to chime in and agree that 0 or 10 pixels makes a much nicer default for separator padding/spacing in Articulate Rise over the current standard of 30 px.
Cheers,

Hi Cher,
Thanks for that image example - and we are looking at additional changes to how you can adjust padding. I don't have a timeframe to share on that enhancement yet, but I will certainly keep you posted here!
For the last part of the padding in the quote block, you'll also notice the top portion of the quotes icon (very light in the image) is at the top of the block, but the text on that one is still lower. It's centered in the overall block element.

Hello. I have the same issue. I see that it was posted 2 years ago. Has this been resolved? Thanks so much!

I have the same question... why this extra space?

Hi,
Is there an update on Cher's question about all the white space between the heading and the first block? I would really like to reduce this as we have a request to create a course with no scrolls on lessons.
