Changing the colour of matching drag and drop

Hello! How can I change the width of blocks in Edit matching drag and drop

Hi Gack,

There isn't a built-in way to resize those objects. 

I think this would would be a nice enhancement to be able to customize this question type a bit more. The development team does take feature requests seriously, so if you have an opportunity, this would be a good request to submit.

In the meantime, perhaps a freeform drag-and-drop interaction would work for you project instead? You'd certainly have more control over the size of the objects and you'd be able to customize them as much as you'd like.

Changing Custom 2 worked for me in regards to changing the colour of the selected box (but not the grey boxes themselves). The state is somewhat faded from the original colour  so I went with a tone that was darker than I wanted. I still ended up with 9 Custom Colour pallets by the end of it all though. Funny how you can't just edit an existing pallet--unless I'm missing something.

Were you choosing to Create New Theme Colors each time? This would create the new ones.

If you wish to edit:

1. Go to the Design tab on the ribbon and click Colors.
2. Right-click the custom theme colors you want to modify and select Edit.

Yes, this would be a feature request and you are welcome to share your thoughts with our product development team here.  

In the meantime, I would advise that you utilize a Freeform Drag and Drop perhaps so you can customize how you wish.

This is a very old post, but I am facing the same issue right now. Any way to customize the design of the boxes? Has this been updated?

What are you missing or expecting to see in Preview that you are not? Do you have a .story file that we could take a look at?

I am trying to use shape effects and shape outlines to make the matching choices stand out. However, the colors are not showing up when i preview it,.

I can replicate the behavior you are reporting in a new file.

It looks like this is an issue we have reported:

Matching Drag and Drop shape fill and outline not retained in the published output.
