Changing the Navigation of a Course when Resuming

Both Rise and Storyline have settings to restrict navigation and force learners to go through the content in order. And, if the course is in an LMS/LRS, both can resume the course where the learner left off. In other words, if someone has already completed content, they won't be required to complete it again.

You should check with your LMS/LRS folks to ensure people can relaunch completed courses.
I also suggest you consider making resources (e.g., job aids) accessible somewhere else—because no one should have to log into an LMS/LRS, locate a course, and relaunch it just to look up instructions.
