"Clicked" State not appearing during Freeform Question

There are soooo many things that could cause this. For an accurate answer, you need to attach your .story file here.

Here we are!

Here's what I found:

All the text boxes (except 2) look like groups. Except, there is only one item in the group, so it can't be ungrouped. When you click on it, the box changes to Selected, but the text is treated as a grouped item, and doesn't change. I don't know how that happened, but something went wrong in the creation and/or copying of them. If I create a new textbox, or copy #2 and change its text, that doesn't happen.

I believe a glitch has happened with the animations. Which may mean all the text boxes need rebuilding.

The animations are set to by paragraph which is why they look like grouped objects, but removing that then means the object no longer appears on preview.

I think the animations corrupted something and they all need rebuilding as removing the animations doesn't fix it.
