Closed Captioning Software
Is anyone in the Storyline community using a third party closed captioning software for courses? We use professionally recorded voice over for our courses, and are currently copying and pasting our script files into Storyline. We have also tried using the "Generate Closed Captioning" option in Storyline, but aren't happy with the way it breaks up text, and then the timings are off once we replace the text-to-speech with professional voice over. I'm curious if anyone has a better system in place. Thanks!

We use Aegisub to generate the captions. We can view both video files and audio waveforms, and then, with the script as a starting point, create captions that can be imported into the Caption Editor, with the correct timing already in place.

I'm also looking into this. so far i've seen Aegisub and "Descript" as potential options but still researching.
