Content Management app or content database system for Rise Courses?

Working on a project that has ~100 courses and anywhere from 16 to 80 lessons per course. We use Asana to manage the development workflow and tasks, but I am looking for a content management strategy. Content is often one-to-one (only in one lesson in one Course), but content may also be one-to-many (appears in multiple lessons and courses). As such, editing and keeping track of where the changes need to be made becomes quite a burden.

When I thought about the one-to-one and one-to-many relationships, a relational database strategy came to mind. Has anyone built or found a content management system for Rise360 content? A system for managing quiz and assessment content outside of Rise and Articulate would be invaluable as well.

Kal from Amananet recommended an LMS for the content management since that is what the "MS" means! I'm wondering if that's a good way to search for where content lives and then edit once, use multiple times.

Looking forward to insights and suggestions ... thanks!

Scott

  • Hi Scott, did you ever find a CMS/DMS? We're looking into that right now, something that's Rise friendly. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
