Continue to next topic after passing quiz

I have a Rise course that includes several sections using blocks. I'm using button sets to create branching so I have turned off the previous/next buttons. I have a quiz block at the end of the course and want to have a slide after passing the quiz to wrap up the course and thank the participant. The only option I get, whether passing or not, is retake the quiz. Anyone have a workaround?

  • Hello, Tiffany!

Rise 360 automatically adds a next button on the quiz results screen (shown below) when there are additional lessons following the quiz.

The Continue option (shown below) will appear if you have both the previous/next navigation turned off and you haven't included the sidebar.

While I appreciate that this has been "solved", I would love to see the visual option of the green continue bar, instead of this greyed out directive (that looks like the previous/next formatting)...too many learners miss it and get stuck in the content.

  • Hi, Rich! Tell me more about what you're looking for, and I can point you in the right direction!

+1 With Amy. When you use a massive CONTINUE button throughout the course and then suddenly there is a teeny-weenie greyed out button to continue, a majority of my adult learners miss it and think the training is over. I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed after 2 years of complaints.

  • Hi folks! I’m thrilled to announce we’ve added an option to choose a continue button style on the quiz results page. Now, your learners will see the familiar continue button that adopts your course theme color if you select this option in the quiz settings.

We’re here if you have questions about how this feature works.

  • Hi Rachel!

First, select the continue button on the quiz settings page, as shown below. Then, be sure the previous and next buttons are turned on in the course settings.

Finally, preview the entire course (not just the quiz), and you'll see the continue button.

Let us know if that works!

It would be great to have the option to mark the course complete if the learner completes selected quizzes. For example, I have a course that directs some users to Quiz 1 if they work at inpatient hospitals. Those who work at outpatient hospitals take Quiz 2. Everyone takes Quiz 3 (but it's not a final exam). Would be cool to mark completion if Quiz 3 AND Quiz 2 OR Quiz 3 are passed. I know I can create this is Storyline, but I love the look and feel of slick Rise! Thanks for considering.

Thanks for sharing your use case, Christy! We'll tag this discussion so we can reach out if we add multiple quiz tracking in Rise 360.
