Continued issues with text running off slide
- 2 years ago
Hello Everyone!
I wanted to share some great news! We are no longer seeing the bug that caused text boxes to break after applying a built-in theme in projects imported from PowerPoint to Storyline.
Please make sure that you are using the current version of Storyline 360 (3.72.29699.0).
To confirm or update your version of Storyline 360:
- Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your Windows machine.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to Storyline 360 and select Other Versions.
- Here you will see the current version being used, or have the option to update.
Please let us know if you're still encountering the issue and we'd be happy to continue troubleshooting with you in a support case.
I am importing from my computer hard drive and I have tried importing it in a new file on storyline
Hello Jana,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue.
This article explains possible reasons why your PowerPoint presentations are not importing properly, as well as how to solve them.
You'll also want to make sure that you have a supported version of Microsoft Office installed. If the issue persists, try doing a repair of your Storyline 360 installation to see if this helps.
Let me know if this works for you!

PowerPoint not importing properly is just one more longstanding issue with this overpriced product.

Thank you for your reply.
None of the things you suggested works. I have now done a new PPT and it still does not work.
I have uploaded this very same PPT before, now I made a few changes to text and it refuses to allow me to upload it.
I need this done urgently.
Please assist.Kind Regards,
Jana Rupping
