Custom Volume Control?

Don't think you can do this but if you find a solution let me know.

I just decided to try and do the same thing (all custom nav) and realized that the volume button is still taking up all that space.

I assume by the fact that there have been no other posts on this thread since May... that no one has come up with anything?

Same question here. I really would like to add my own volume button. Any help ?

There is no way to do this. I just turn it off. If people want to adjust volume they can use the volume controls on their computer.

Is there are variable called Volume, which can then be assigned a percentage value?

Just a though, how this could be achieved.

Unfortunately, custom volume controls aren't accessible via the player or variables. You could build your own Flash-based widget to control volume. Here's a widget example for muting audio. This only works in the Flash output:

This would make a great feature request.

At least to be able to publish with the volume maximized. I think once published the audio is at a lesser % than 100. I could be wrong, but the volume bar isn't at the very top when the volume selector is there.

I created a SWF file with which you can load external SWF files. With this SWF you can adjust the volume of the loaded SWf files.

It would be great if I could trace/read the volume setting of the Storyline player so I can use that also for the loaded SWF files.

Can somebody help me with that maybe?

It would be great if articulate could make customized audio controls a new feature.
