Dictionary - OFF?
Can anybody tell me how tu turn off english dictionary.
I work in polish and Storyline non only mark word's on red when they are not proper in english....
Storyline changes some of my polish words automaticly!!!!
Let say I have in polish word "ta" (means SHE). Storyline changes this word to "at" (in polish means... developer is drunk).
I try add my word to dictionary, ignore it - still automaticly changes.... crazy :(

You can turn off / customize options (incl.spelling, autocorrect and dictionary), by clicking the round Articulate logo button in the upper left and then select Storyline Options at the bottom of this menu.

Is it possible to install polish dictionary?

Hello Joanna,
Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ⭐️
If you have a .dic file, you can easily add custom dictionaries into Storyline:
- Go to the File tab on the Storyline ribbon and click Storyline Options.
- On the General tab, click Spelling Options.
- Click Custom Dictionaries to add, modify, or remove a custom dictionary.
Here's a quick Peek recording of that. I hope this helps!

Thank you for your answer.
I don't have a .dic file. How can I get it?

From what I found online:
- Create a new dictionary file using a text editor (such as Notepad) and save it (example: polish.dic).
- Add one word on each line.
Then follow the instructions above on adding your custom dictionary to Storyline.
Hope this helps!
