download a pdf file while clicking on a link.

Hi everyone, I am looking for a solution for the following issue. I would like to use resources in a storyline module, but via a button on screen instead of through the resources button in the player. 

So I want the user to be able to download a pdf file when clicking on a button. Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Hi, Jana,

    You can link to a file via a trigger attached to any object: 

    Note: This trigger opens the file in a new window. The user would have to save/download it on their own.
