Embedded Articulate Storyline in Rise, autoplay on mobile
I realized when I embed a Storyline file in Rise via Review 360, the feature auto plays on pc or laptops.
However, when I tested it on mobile or tablets, I had to click the play button before activating the Storyline block to start the interactivity. It is also a pop up where I have to click on the X button to close the storyline feature before I can continue with the rest of my Rise learning.
Is there any other methods to incorporate this to make it auto play and also not a pop up layer on mobile or tablets?
Hi Transformation Matters!
Thanks for reaching out! This is expected behavior for mobile viewing.
For learners using a mobile device, they will see a play button on top of any Storyline block. Tapping the play button will initiate the Storyline slide to play in the mobile browser.- TransformationMCommunity Member
Thank you so much Renz! Greatly appreciate the feedback. Cheers!

How do I not make the Storyline 360 auto play. I want the learner to hit play and the playbar is gone now! So frustrating. I have to launch this in the morning and it's really frustrating when my company pays for a license and it doesn't work.

I am in the same boat. I DON'T want the embedded SL files to autoplay. I want the learner to press the Play button when they NEED to. Otherwise, the SL file plays before the learner is ready to view it.

You'll love this /sarcasm. They intentionally designed the autoplay to happen. As "leaders" in instructional design and authoring tools they seem to not understand this important feature.
