Embedding videos in Rise so that they can be viewed externally
Hi guys,
Relatively new to Rise so I'm looking for some advice, I have a number of embedded videos in my course that are not showing up externally to someone viewing the content because they are stored on our internal Sharepoint site.
How do I get around this?
Thanks!
Thanks for your response Kristin, I figured it out ... if you use a video block instead of embedding the video it gets uploaded to the Articulate server and is run locally within the course.

If the person you are trying to share the videos with is not on your network, then you would have to store the videos in a public location, like YouTube, or if you have Articulate 360 they would be able to see the videos linked from that location.
If the person IS on your network and should be able to see the videos, there are two things to look at. 1) Did you make the video available to anyone with the link, i.e., share the video so it's available at least to the person you're trying to share with? 2) I've noticed with Microsoft that although a person can be logged in to the network and accessing SharePoint and other MS apps online, it will sometimes still ask the person to log in again. Does the person see a login screen?- daveleesCommunity Member
