Exiting a Course in Rise 360
Ok, thank you Karl,
Unfortunately, our LMS does not have that feature. Individuals are exiting the browser causing a 'Still in Progress' status on their dashboard even though they completed the course. Just trying to find a more user-friendly option.
The exit course option, in the LMS publish settings, is not a feature of your LMS. However, it only functions if the course is being viewed in an LMS, not in Review or when running as HTML. Enabling this option adds an exit course button to the course itself. As far as I can tell, it evaluates the completion criteria you have set and exits the course, setting the completion status if the criteria have been met.
Also, the goodbye.html file can be edited easily with an HTML or text editor if you want it to say something other than "Bye! You may now exit this page." To change the text, first extract the SCORM zip archive. The file can be found in the scormdriver folder. Be careful not to change anything other than the message text, unless you know a bit of HTML. After the changes are complete, re-zip the files and upload the edited package to your LMS.
