Experiencing Lag time issues with Storyline 360

- Do you have a large image in the background on the slide?
- Are the drag items high-resolution photos that have been cropped down?
If you can share the .story file, it will make troubleshooting this easier. But check the first two items to see if the lag goes away.

I figured out the problem and it might be useful information for other users. I was creating a background using multiple characters (8 to be exact). Once I turned them off using Show/Hide the lag time stopped.
