Export Closed Captioning
Is there a way to export all of my closed captioning to a word document if I added it directly to storyline and did not import it?

Has this really not been figured out yet? If I can publish the project as one single video, I should have the option to publish the accompanying captions as one .vtt file to use with the .mp4. This feature is way overdue.

Agreed. This feature is very much needed. When publishing to Word it would be very helpful and save a lot of time to have the CC published along with the other information.

Putting my vote in as well. This would be super helpful to have and save a ton of time spent copying and pasting.

Hi all,
I've created an app that does the following:- Upload a Storyline 360 file
- Export an Excel XLSX report of all closed captions in the Storyline file.
- Edit captions in the report.
- Generate captions via speech-to-text.
- Generate audio via text-to-speech.
- Download Storyline 360 file with updated captions.
I am looking for files for testing. While I'm still in the testing phase, if you can share a Storyline 360 file with me, and if the app works with your content, I'll return to you the report with your updated Storyline 360 file.
I can be reached at jimbertelsen@gmail.com

This looks quite interesting and well done. Is this React or Vue or equivalent. Out of curiosity, have you been able to address deleted audio with captions that still appear among the files because they still fall in the "undo/redo" list even though they were deleted and no longer in the scene?
I also like the the title of your project ;) - JimBertelsenCommunity Member
Thanks for the kinds words, Josh.
I am using some React, but not consistently.
I wasn't aware of undo/redo issue you mentioned. I haven't come across it, yet. - JimBertelsenCommunity Member
Here's another solution that will export a transcript of all captions in a Storyline 360 file. A working example story file is attached.

Adding vote for ability to extract all closed captions to a singular file at once.

Agree, it is odd you can export files, but cannot export the srts without doing it individually
