Export to XLIFF 2.0 File in Rise
Hi,
Is there a plan to update Rise to export XLIFF 2.0 files? My translation vendor will be requiring this version.
Thank you!

I am still failing to understand why we cannot have a Word Export similar to what we can export from Storyline (or even Excel, for that matter).
It would make so many people's lives so much easier...

Hello Marcel and Willem -
I would like to share my solution here but that would be considered self-promotion according to the forum rules. In the meantime Marcel, I did send a response to your message. If you didn't receive it, would you please check your spam folder or reach out to me via LinkedIn? Thank you!

I would also like to see your solution if possible.

Hi Thor,
I have sent you a private message. I would be intersted in hearing about your possible solution with this issue which is still not addressed.
Thanks

We would also love to see XLIFF 2.0. We use DeepL and their requirements are 2.0/2.1.

Smartling, our translation vendor, has also released a new Machine Translation tool that doesn't support XLIFF 1.2 - needs to be XLIFF 2.0.

Really? We are using Smartling, too. That makes translations even more umbersome then if Rise360 does not handle xliff 2.0
When I do translations myself, I am so much faster with the Word-files from Storyline...

I've been using SmartCat for XLIFF files version 1.2 exported from Rise and it delivers as expected, you can even select multiple languages at once and get them all in one go; just in case you'd like to explore another solution instead of DeepL

More than three years later, I join the chorus asking for an XLIFF 2.1 option so that I can use DeepL.

Any updates?
Hi Adrienne!
Thanks for checking in on this!
I don't have any updates to share at this time as our development team has been prioritizing other features. I've included you in the feature report being tracked and will update this discussion as soon as we have news to share. If you'd like to stay up to date, you can bookmark our Feature Roadmap.
In the meantime, for your reference, here's a deeper look at how we manage feature requests.

one more for either a XLF update or even better do the same as you do for storyline, a word doc

We are now in 2024 and no effort has been done by articulate to implement xliff 2.1 (because 2.0 is already outdated). Unbeliebable!
