Feedback Master Does Not Work
Hi there, Lida and John. We have this behavior reported for both Storyline 3 and 360.
I recently noticed that if you use the Feedback window in Form view, Storyline will pull in some of those default feedback layout objects, like the Correct text and the Continue button, even if you're using a custom layout that doesn't include them. I found a way around it which might be helpful for you:
1. Make sure you remove any unwanted elements from your feedback master layout (from the parent and the child layouts). You can add a text placeholder if you know you'll be giving textual feedback.
2. Remove any text from your layer in Form View. This will ensure that Storyline doesn't try to pull in the normal feedback elements (like "Correct" and the Continue button).
3. Create new layers titled, Correct and Incorrect. Choose your custom feedback layout with the text placeholder, and then enter the text appropriate for that slide's feedback.
We still have this issue open, but in the meantime, I'm sharing this workaround to help!
