Game Board Help
I am creating a board game as a final knowledge check for a course I have created. However, I have run into a few hiccups. I created a question bank so that the questions would be randomized. Here are my questions:
1. I have hotspots on all of the game board spaces and the trigger set to go to the question bank. After the answer the question correctly/incorrectly they are taken back to the game board. However, when I click on the next hotspot I am taken right back to the same question. How do I keep the questions randomized, but have a different one come up when I click on the next hot spot?
2. I would like for players to be able to move their piece on their own if they get the question correct. I don't want game pieces to move if the answer was incorrect. How can I do this? Is it possible to have incorrect questions come up again? I would like them to get the correct answer, but have some sort of consequence for getting it incorrect the first time.
I have attached the game because I find it easier to answer questions if I can see what the person is doing.

What you missed is a 'Results Slide'. That is needed to use a randomized questionbank this way. And a trigger on the 'hotspots' that resets the results so a new draw is randomly drawn.
Fixed sample added.
Forgot to mention i set the resume functionality on the questions to 'reset to initial state'...- KellyMcLaugh979Community Member
Thank you very much for your help. I knew something was missing, but I couldn't find anything when I was searching all of the help articles. It is now working like it would like it too. I appreciate you taking the time to help.

I imported the board game into another Storyline. Made sure all of the game board slides were set up correctly based on the Final_Board_Game_Fixed.story but it is showing the same question when I click on each hotspot on the game board. It can be found in Scene 4.

Its caused by the unlimited attempts in your quiz-questions. If you set those to 1 attempt it works normally.

In the file where I Just have the game I have unlimited attempts set and it works correctly. Why would it act differently when I imported the file? I am attaching just the game file. When I imported the game file into the actual course I had to recreate the question bank. Could that have something to do with it?

Possibly the default is unlimited attempts, so when recreating it indeed resets that.
