Generate closed captions box doesn't stay checked

When inserting text-to-speech (TTS) in Storyline 360, there's an option to generate closed captions. In the past, when I've selected the checkbox for this option, it stays selected for each subsequent slide where I insert TTS. However, for the past month or so, it doesn't stay selected. I have to reselect it EVERY time I insert TTS. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix?
I'm running Storyline 360 v3.105.35604.0 on Windows 11 64-bit, version 10.0.26100 Build 26100.
