  • Hi Kayla,

Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue.

I can confirm that we are currently tracking a known issue that causes text with Gotham font to not display correctly on iOS devices. The only workaround we've identified so far is to switch the font used by the course from Gotham to a different one.

I've added this community post to the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is released. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience.

DARN. This font is part of my company's branding. Do we have an update on this?

    • Hi AmyGtt!

Sorry to hear you've run into trouble, authoring with Gotham font in Storyline!

I noticed you've also connected with my colleague Chester, through a support case. I don't have any updates to share at this time, but we've included your voice in the bug report.

Also, Gotham font is available in two formats. OpenType (OTF) and TrueType (TTF). We've found the TTF version to be problematic, whereas OTF is stable. As a workaround, we suggest authoring with the OTF format only. I've attached a font package you can use, with my reply. Please follow the steps below:

      1. Extract the Gotham-Font.zip file.
      2. Sort the fonts by type.
      3. Inspect the list, installing (and overwriting if prompted) only the OpenType (.otf) files.
      4. Relaunch Storyline 360 so the fonts are updated.
      5. Publish your course from Storyline again.

      Hope this helps!
