Graded questions - No submit button

Hi community,

I have added a multiple response graded question at a branched scene I am working on.

The thing is that there is no Submit button showing anywhere.   I can see a trigger for an ghost type of Sumbit button but I canĀ“t see it there, at preview or when publish.

I found a similar question at this thread https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/submit-button-not-showing-197f856a-4016-482a-a48c-50cffe0712c8?utm_campaign=elh_search&utm_medium=internal&utm_source=elh-referral

But not helpful at all, I have the feeling that submit button only shows when you have the player on.. My project has the player off.

Can someone explain/clarify how it works.

Thanks!

  • The normal submit button is part of the player. If you shut the menus and controls on the player off, you have to build a submit button on the slide, just like you would any next/previous buttons to move between slides. Draw a button (or a shape that would serve as the button) on your graded question slide, and then adjust the trigger that gets created so that the question is submitted when the user clicks the button/shape that you drew. I attached a very simple example here.

  • I'm having this same problem of the Submit button not showing on a freeform drag and drop, and I also do not have my player on. I added a button from the menu and it still didn't work no matter what I tried with triggers. I finally drew a shape and triggered that to submit the interaction when clicked and it is now working perfectly!
