Grading multiple choice with several options
Hello,
I am creating a graded exam and have several multiple choice questions that require more than one answer. My issue is I want to give credit for the correct answers even if they don't choose all of the correct answers. For example, the question is worth 3 points (each correct answer is worth one point) if they get all answers correct. But, they can also get one or two points if they only choose one or two correct answers.
All the options I am seeing is an all or nothing type scale. On some questions there is an option to grade based on question or answer. I do not get this option with multiple choice questions with multiple answers.
Thank you for your help,
Bill
Hi there, Bill. There isn't an option to give partial credit for multiple response questions. I'll submit a feature request for you because it sounds like this would help!

Hi there, Crystal. Has any progress been made on this feature request? I've trying to do the same thing as Bill
Hello Lauren,
Thank you for chiming in to share that this is an option that you would like to implement as well.
This is still an open feature request with our team. I've added this conversation to our report so that we can share any updates with you here.
I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests, which may be helpful.

Is this feature available now. Or do we have a triggers and variables that can help?

There's no built-in feature to assign partial credit for multiple-response questions.
This post has a file that demonstrates how to do it with custom programming: TIP: Give Partial Credit on Multiple Response Questions | Articulate - Community
