Is there a way to set different anchor points for the grow emphasis animation. It appears that the default is that the object grows from center, but is there a way to set it so that the animation grows from, say, its bottom left corner?

Great question!
Currently, that type of functionality is not possible for Emphasis Animations. When working with the Growth Emphasis Animation, the object will only grow from the center, outward.
