Guestbook form
Hello!
I'm considering still considering Articulate and have had a demo shown to me.
I have a question about the guestbook function:
Can I change the forms? It asks for "First name", "Last name" and "Email." Could i change them to Name, Company, Email? Or Just Company?
Because of GDPR I dont want to collect personal information of people. Lets say I cant change the from but tell them to use company name in "First name" and they accidently input their personal name still, can I change it? Remove it? Delete the entry?

Hi SK7,
Thanks for reaching out with these questions!
It’s great that you’re considering your organization’s privacy requirements. Currently, the fields in the Quick Share Guestbook can’t be customized. When the Guestbook is enabled, learners are asked to enter their first name, last name, and email address.
However, using the Guestbook is optional! You can turn it off by clicking the guestbook status, toggle the guestbook Off, and select Save. This requires learners to enter their name and email address each time they access the training.
I appreciate you raising this, especially the use case of wanting to collect company information without requiring personal details. That’s helpful context for our team!

The GDPR concern makes sense, especially if the Guestbook is being used with external learners or event attendees. Since the fields can't currently be customized, turning the Guestbook off may avoid collecting information you don't actually need, but it also means losing that basic access tracking.
It would be useful if Articulate eventually allowed admins to choose which fields are collected, such as replacing first and last name with a company name or making the fields optional. Has anyone found a practical workaround for collecting only company information while still keeping the Guestbook enabled?
