HELP! My Peek Won't Open Correctly

Hi, community!

I opened Peek 360 for the first time in awhile, and it opens just as a heading in the task bar - see the pic I uploaded. When I click on the settings icon, I can change shortcuts for pausing and ending recordings and quit only. 

I can't see the New Recording button...any ideas on how to get the app to open on the actual desktop?

  • It looks like it's stuck on the taskbar. I'd shut down the app completely and reopen it and see if that fixes it. Worst case, rebooting should reset the taskbar. If that doesn't help, let us know.

  • Just an update - after several uninstalls and reinstalls, I was still having issues. Lianne from Articulate Support was great - she sent me info and it turns out that my multiple monitors were causing the problem. I undocked my laptop, started it up, launched Peek, and voila! Mischief managed. I re-docked the laptop and Peek remained open correctly. So, I will adjust my process when I know I need to use Peek and all should be fine.
