Hiding Correct and Incorrect Answers for Knowledge Checks
Hi there! I'm new to articulate and am not sure if I'm missing something or if what I'm trying to do isn't supported.
I'm hoping to have people try knowledge check questions again after answering them. I know there is a try again button once an answer has been chosen/the question is responded to, but in the preview mode it shows the correct/acceptable answers as soon as someone chooses a response.
Is there a way to hide these correct/incorrect answers and only show the individual feedback that I have for each question so if someone answers incorrectly they can try again without immediately having the correct answer given to them?
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360, adding the new features below:
- Knowledge check blocks can be added directly to question banks, have their content width and answer colors modified, be required for training progress, hide the correct answer if answered incorrectly, and have a set number of retries.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update!

It is beyond me how this isn't a basic editing function yet. Regardless of whether or not we need to track correct answers in knowledge check or not, how was this missed or not deemed important in the design/upgrades of Rise since first implemented? I have seen numerous people ask for it.

Hi Katie,
There are no settings that allow you to control or change how a Knowledge Check functions.

Nearly 5 years from the first time this issue was raised
(https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/knowledge-check-without-feedback)and still no resolution for such a crucial and most likely simple fix - genuinely astonishing.

Agree, this should be standard

@Articulate please include this! We pay enough for this software. Moodle it's possible and that is free software...

I still can't find settings to solve this issue, does anyone know if there are any plans to develop this functionality?
Hello Raquel! We are tracking a request for the ability to hide the Knowledge Check answer reveal.
I'll be more than happy to add you to the list so that you'll get notified if we make changes that will help.

Angelo, please add me to that list as well.
As a workaround, I've created my own Knowledge Checks in Storyline that mimic the Knowledge Checks in Rise so that I could customize the response and remove terms like "correct" and "incorrect" while maintaining the UX. It would be useful to be able to have this control from within Rise.

Hello, may I please also be on the list? I would also like to hide the answers sometimes.

I would also like added to the list to know when this functionality becomes available.

I would also like to be added to the list to know when this functionality becomes available. It seems such an obvious thing to implement, but, not sure why Articulate don't think it's important.
Hi Shahin!
Thanks for checking in on this!
I've included you in the feature report that's being tracked and will update this discussion as soon as we have news to share!
In the meantime, here's a deeper look at how we manage feature requests.

I would also like added to the list to know when this functionality becomes available, I get this question time and time again from my SMEs.
