Higlighted text won't deselect in Rise 360

Hi!

I'm currently working on creating a course in Rise and have recently noticed a bug. When you highlight text, it stays highlighted until you click directly on the text again. Previously, the highlight would disappear automatically if you clicked elsewhere on the page, but now it "sticks" until you click the highlighted text again.

Is anyone else experiencing this bug? And is it something that might be fixed in the near future?

    Sorry to hear you've been affected by this issue!

    I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Rise 360. This bug causes highlighted text to remain selected when clicking away from the text, while editing. I've linked this discussion to the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place.

    Oh, yes, I experience the same bug. Very irritating together with the formatting issue (formats are now copied from i.e. word to Rise).

    I do hope this will be fixed soon!

  • Same here, I thought I'd formatted it incorrectly. It doesn't do any harm but is annoying.

    I'd also prefer all content copied from Word etc not to carry across any formatting, it usually comes across white with large text and I have to scroll down alot just to get to use the clear formatting button.
