How do I import questions into my rise course?
I am dying.
I have to convert 40 courses to SCORM, with each course having 50 quiz questions. Is there a way to do this without copying each question and the 3-5 options individually? I have the questions in an excel file...

Hi, Patricia!
Thanks for reaching out. I see that you’ve reached out to our Support Engineers and are working with my teammate, Lejan. You’re in great hands! We’ll continue the conversation in your support case.
Currently, you can manually add individual questions to Rise 360. I'd like to share a workaround here in case someone else in the community is facing a similar issue!
- First, you can import questions from an Excel spreadsheet or text file in Storyline 360
- Next, you can use Storyline blocks to embed that Storyline course in Rise 360
I hope this helps!

Hi Kelly,
I'm facing a similar situation as Patricia. I would prefer not to have to use a Storyline block in Rise for my quiz. Is there a workaround in development?
Thanks!

Hello, I have the same question as I need to create 480 questions.

This has to be one of the biggest roadblocks to creating quizzes in Rise. Surely this is something that is being actively worked on.

Hi, any update on this or ways to import MCQs into Rise, without going through storyline?

+1 from me, is there a feature request on the road map that I can add my voice to?
Hi SelmaDorrest262,
I went ahead and added your voice to the feature request report we already have open for this discussion. We'll let everyone subscribed to this thread know when this feature becomes available. In the meantime, check out our product roadmap to see which features are currently in the works!

Hey can I be added to this update? My company is also using articulate to load quizzes at times but open to other apps that would be able to do this.

We'd also like to be included in this feature request as we have a large number of exams that we'd like to move into SCORM from our existing LMS. I'd also like to ask - is there any information on whether the question bank functionality would still work if we used Storyline to import a large number of questions?
Hi CLAMSDEVACCA,
Thanks for adding your voice here! I’ve included your team in the feature request we’re tracking for importing questions directly into Rise 360.
We know this would make a big difference when you’re moving large exam banks into SCORM, and your use case is really helpful for us to hear.
On your question about Storyline, you can absolutely import a large number of questions into Storyline and use its question bank features there. If you then add that Storyline quiz to Rise as a Storyline block, it will work the same way it does in Storyline.
Just note that it won’t behave like a native Rise question bank, and Rise will only track the Storyline block as a whole rather than individual question data.
We’ll keep you posted in this thread as soon as we have news to share.

Is there any update on this???
Surely there can be a less clunky way than adding a storyline block?

I can't believe this feature doesn't exist. Me and Co-pilot explored all the options and workarounds, but nothing gives me the individual scoring and pass/fail for my LMS. I'm baffled because you used to be able to upload an excel file into Quizmaker. Even if it was limited to 2 or 3 question types that would save me from literally (literally!) hundreds of ctrl-C/ctrl-V's. Please get this on the roadmap. Thank you.
