How to automatically 'throw delegate out of quiz' upon submission of incorrect answer
I am designing a course where, at the start, there are 2 options:
Option 1 - take the course with a test-out at the end with a passing score of 80 percent and up to 3 attempts to pass

If you are using Correct / Incorrect layers with your questions, you can add a trigger on your Incorrect layer to Jump to slide StartCourse when the user clicks continue.
