How to embed a Youtube video in RISE

Hi - Sorry if this is a basic question. I know this is doable (I've seen it done in youtube videos), but since the blocks changed in the latest RISE update I'm unable to find any block that allows...

Hi there, I know this is an old strand but I'm having the same issue. Trying to embed a YouTube video and I can't see how to do this. I can't see any obvious options on how to do it. Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi there, David! You have two options using the multimedia embed block:

    • Use the YouTube URL
    • Use the embed code

      Hi Crystal, 

      This is a huge help, I got stuck while creating a non-video asset for a school and they were keen on getting the videos embedded instead of links. Till today, I did not know it was possible. Tried this and learned a new thing.

      I have a query, can we embed videos that are like saved on a GDrive accessible to the learners, through this method?

        Hello Divya! I'm glad Crystal's solution helped you.

        Yes, you can embed videos from your Google Drive, you'll need to get the iframe embed code and paste it into Rise 360's Multimedia > Embed block.
