I'm frustrated at how limited Articulate's AI is
Hi,
I'm really frustrated with how poor the AI in Articulate is. I just sent it to turn the knowledge checks from throughout my course into a final quiz, and the AI told me it couldn't do it. That is a serious limitation that is unacceptable.
The Storyline AI has similar ridiculous limitations. Yesterday, I tried to get it to use my templates to build a wireframe for a new course. It told me it couldn't access my Articulate Templates.
The AI images and audio are great, but the sync is useless half the time. When will we get a functional AI that has the ability to do simple things like this?

Hopefully we will never get such an "improvement".

Then, all our Articulate skills will become obsolete as other tools take over. Tech has constantly changed over my lifetime. AI is just the next change.
Hi BenjiLukas,
Thanks for adding your voice here. It makes sense to be frustrated when the AI can’t turn the knowledge checks you’ve already built into your final quiz.
At the moment, quiz generation in Rise writes new questions from your course content instead of reusing yours. To keep your original wording, Magic Quiz Import can turn existing questions into a quiz lesson, and you can paste your knowledge check questions right into it. Here are the steps for pasting questions into Magic Quiz Import.
It also sounds like you’d like Storyline AI to build from your own templates. We’re continuing to track this need, and I’m not able to share a timeline.
On the sync, what are you seeing, and in which app? If it works for you, you’re welcome to open a support case and share a sample file or short screen recording privately.

In it's current state, I don't think it's possible. Storyline would need a huge overhaul or an actual new version in order for AI to do what you ask. I'm using MCPs with Blender and Godot to create projects to my specifications. Something's not right, I just ask it to fix it and it does it. It's like another developer working with the applications. AI in Storyline is like trying to develop with half the tools and panels off limits and one hand tied behind your back.
