Images not loading for learner

I had a learner reach out stating they could not see the images. However, I have no issues on my end. Could it be the learners internet connection? Is this a Rise issue? The images are from Shutterstock if that matters.

  • Hi tyhonor!

Sorry to hear that Rise 360 images are not loading as expected when playing back a Review link!

I see that you've already opened a support case that's been escalated to my teammate, John. It looks like he just replied to your e-mail, sharing insight and troubleshooting steps.

You're in excellent hands with John, and we can continue the conversation through your case!

How is the Rise course being made available to students? Using  a LMS or some other method? Is only one student having these issues?

Currently they are just using a Review link. So it's on Review 360

I have a whole slew of recommendations 😀

        1. If the student is using a mobile device (like a tablet), then Review 360 doesn't work very well. If students don't have to write comments, I recommend using Rise's Quick Share feature rather than Review 360 since it works well on mobile.
        2. It may be a browser issue; you can have the student try using private/incognito mode and see if that clears things up, or a different browser entirely.
        3. Running a speed test can also tell you whether they're on a slower connection that can muck up images.
        4. Since this is a stock image and a probably fairly large file, I recommend leaving the Preserve File Quality option unchecked, if this wasn't done initially. Or maybe replace with a more compressed version to lower the file size.
