Hi, Marten,
That is weird. Some characters will display in a different font when they're not part of the character set of the current font. For example, I've seen this happen with special characters in Vietnamese.
But, obviously, that shouldn't happen with standard characters like J, P, Q, X, and Y. And many fonts would also support Ä and Ö.
