Intermittent Issue - Slide/Feedback Master
I know this will be hard to resolve but will give it shot.
Hoping someone else will recognize the issue:
Occasionally for no reason the SL file will not retain either the slide master or feedback master that was selected. It will select another master seemingly at random. When I see the issue I fix it and save. Next time I open SL the issue is back, Either on the same slide or a completely new slide will pop up with the issue.
The only thing I can possibly attribute the problem to is there are many master slides (feedback as well) in all courses for this project. Not all are used but they have built up over the course of over a year from multiple developers.
We are at the point where we are closing out the project and sending the source files to the client. At this point we need to send a detailed document of what to do if opening any of the 60 or so files to eliminate any errors.
The project files cannot be shared for security reasons, but I would not even guarantee the problem could be duplicated in any reasonable timeframe since it is so random and only happens occasionally.

Hello Stephen, have tried to create a new storyline file and then import these existing slides into the new one? If not just give it a try and check if you can still replicate the specified issues.

Not something that would viable at this point when 60 courses are about to be delivered. As stated, there is no way to know which course will resurface the issue so replicating is not really possible.

The way you describe it, it really does sound like it is related to all the different masters. I don't know exactly what problems are caused by excessive, unused masters, but I have to imagine that at least some problems are likely. Certainly, that's where I would look first.
