Internal Intranet Departmental Portfolio

Hello, I am looking for advice about what would be the best format to host and display a portfolio of our departments work and possibly process.  This would showcase our scope and capabilities to other departments.  

Would SharePoint be the best option or something in Rise or Articulate?  I would even consider Adobe Portfolio.

    As is often the case, the answer is "it depends." 

    For example, SharePoint can be a great access point for forms and procedures.

    If your company's SharePoint can be used as a web server, it could also host a portfolio "course" created with Rise or Storyline.

    • Not all SharePoint sites are set up to allow this. Even when it is, you might have to adjust some file extensions so the course will run. Search the Forum for more info about this. There are a lot of discussions on this topic. 

    If you can't run a course on your company's SharePoint, check with your IT folks to see if there's another option for a published-to-web course.
