Installing the Articulate 360 Desktop App normally doesn't require a pin, so there's a possibility that that restriction might have been placed by your organization. Here's an article on how to install the Articulate 360 apps for your reference:
Storyline 360 is included in your Trial subscription, so once you get the desktop app installed on your computer, you should be able to access it after installing. Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the pin request here so we can confirm for you if its something that you need your IT staff's assistance to resolve?
