In storyline, we used to automatically launch the audio each time the learner change the slide.

Browsing web services and engaging in e-learning are different IMO and I wouldn't be so quick to use that standard as the standard for learning experiences. I'm deleting audio as we speak to eliminate the extra step for my learners.
