Is there any way to set the corner radius of individual corners in a rounded rectangle?

Hi All,

Could anyone please advise if there is a way to set the radius of rounded rectangles individually?

Thanks

  • Storyline doesn't let you do that. However, here's an option to consider:

    • Create the shape you want as a PNG.
      • For example, you could create the shape in PowerPoint or in drawing software, and then save it as a PNG picture.
      • Be sure the background of this picture is transparent.
    • In Storyline, insert a standard rectangle.
    • Right-click the rectangle and open the Format Shape window.
    • Fill the rectangle with the picture of the shape.

Note: When you fill a shape with a picture, Storyline expand the picture to the dimensions of the shape. So if you want your custom shape in various aspect ratios, you may need to create multiple versions of the image to ensure a proper fit.

    Hi Judi,

    Thanks for explaining this.

I hope we can see this feature in SL in the future.

PLEASE add this feature!  By the way I just Googled how to do this and even AI THINKS we can. Apparently AI doesn't know everything.  My two cents when SL gets around to this is we need a "Global" checkbox and the option for setting individual radius.

  • Hi AhmedGendya, JudyNollet, and RussLickteig!

I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 100, we have included essential fixes and new features. One of the new features we’ve included is:

Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here!
