JS Editor Font

Does anyone know what the JS Editor font is? I like how clean it is, and would like to apply it as my font for VS Code and Terminal.

  • Restudying my own screenshots i came to the conclusion 'RF Rostin Regular' in fact looked more alike. As i dont have that font and didnot want to buy it to test i searched to find a similar free font.

As you can see in the image above i found one 'Oxygen Mono'. Being a monotyped font even better. Testing it , the top 3 lines is your sample. The middle 3 lines is Oxygen Mono but without finetuning the settings. As you can see... the font is a bit higher then the sample.

So in the last 3 lines i finetuned the settings... as seen in the Photoshop text panel.. and bingo... its exactly as your sample. Text aliasing is set on Sharp.

    Adding the font.

Wow thank you so much! You went above and beyond I greatly appreciate that!

  • Whenever you look for a Font...use https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
Here you can upload an image of your font and find out what font it is.

    Having done that...

Browsing the results... 'Consolas' looks like it is the best fit for it.

Alas there are still some differences when you test it in Photoshop. So its approximately at best.

As you can see in the image... several characters differ. l,( ) and "" for example.

Ah I see, thank you. I tried using what the font, but I didn't get those kind of results at all. I must have had to much text in the image. Thank you very much!
