Inconsistent font in flipcards in Rise
Hi everyone reviewing my rise course is commenting that my fonts are different throughout the course. Yet it can't be because I've set the paragraph font as Open Sans in the course style and the paragraph option is selected in the drop down of the wizzywig editor. Yet they definitely look different. I've tried changing the size and it's not solving it. It's mainly in the flip card interaction. Also tabs. I do have a different font for headers - Droid Serif - but even if I change that to Open Sans too, it isn't solving my problem. I've screengrabbed one example. Can you help, please?
Apparently its not a bug but a development choice. I've now raised suggestions to make this editable - both for buttons and flip cards. Marking this as resolved now. Thanks all.
Hi JoCousins-4f348!
Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!
We're currently tracking a bug in Rise 360, which causes Flashcard default text size to behave inconsistently. When inserting a new Flashcard Block, the font size is set to 14. However, when increasing/decreasing the value, the size change appears more significant. I'll include your voice in the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place! In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest changing the default text size before making any edits.
Also, in Google Chrome, I tested this behavior within Tabbed Interactions but was unable to replicate the same issue. It would be helpful to see a screen recording of how it looks on your end. Feel free to share that here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Well here is one example of text looking different. The Challenge yourself is a Statement D block which is styled as Heading 2 so I would expect this to be using the heading font I set in the style. The text below is a paragraph block styled as normal and 17 px. Below it is a button block and the text is also styled normal and 17 px. Yet these two look very different.

The button block uses the Heading font for the text and the button, I believe its a bug. Especially noticeable if you place a continue button below, the fonts are inconsistent between button block buttons and continue buttons.

You can use a theme component to fix this, I actually made a video about the issue: https://youtu.be/MbLjv4mkuA8?si=ex8SPAh9bEX1y8TW&t=528
and the css that resets the body font on the button stack:
div.blocks-button__description, a.blocks-button__button { font-family: var(--font-family-body); font-weight: 400; }
