Keep sync timeline and video in player
Hello, I think I am running into this issue in a project. Here are relevant settings/setup:
- The video is set to be its full duration on the timeline
- controls for the video are show
- video does NOT play automatically.
- course is locked so learner has to wait until timeline finishes (because stakeholders require that video MUST be watched)
What happens is:
- If I select x2 Speed in the video controls, a learner must wait for basically double that time, because the timeline is still playing at x1/normal speed.
- If I select x2 on the timeline the video does also get set to x2 speed... so timing works out in this case.
Is this a known issue, or is there a setting that is somehow not set that would cause syncing in both directions?

Hi Seth,
The video timeline functions independently of the slide timeline which explains the behavior you're encountering. If you speed up or scrub through a video timeline, only the video will be affected. If you speed up or scrub through the slide timeline, all objects in the timeline will also experience the changes. One recommendation to ensure consistency in your slide is to disable the video controls, preventing your learners from speeding up the video.
