Labeled graphics in Rise

1. Is there a way to remove the "pulsing" from the markers in a labeled graphic in Rise?

2. Also, and this may be related, when I align the markers in Rise, in Edit mode, they "jump" ever so slightly when published. Is that because of the pulsing?

3. Finally, is there a way for the markers to appear all at once rather then one at a time when the screen loads?

  • Hi Anne, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes Community! So happy you're here! 🥳

    Thanks for reaching out!

I see that you've opened a support case and you are working with my colleague Ian. You are in great hands!

We'll continue the conversation over in your support case.

    Have a great day!

  • @Luciana Piazza. Can you answer here about the pulsing? I'd love to take it off and can't find a way.

      Hi Angie,

There currently isn't a way within Rise to remove the "pulsing" from the markers in a labeled graphic.

Hi Angie! As Karl mentioned, there isn't a way to remove the pulsing animation from the labeled graphic marker.

However, we are tracking requests for the ability to disable this animation. I'll be happy to include you in the list so that you'll get notified if this feature gets released or if we make changes that will help!

Stasie, there is some discussion over here in this other thread. I was able to turn it off with a CSS theme component, this is especially helpful on a graphic with many markers as the pulse animation seems to monopolize my laptop's CPU.

  • Hi Stasie,

Thanks for reaching out. We don't have any updates to share at this time. I’ll go ahead and include your voice to this report. We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.

    Have a great afternoon!
