Launch method configuration change.
Hi, my team is making some changes to our LMS, and I was wondering if for the cmi5 format, inside the course binary (zip) is a manifest file (cmi5.xml), it contains launch configuration parameters as properties on the <au> tag. Specifically we are interested in the launchMethod property which by default is set to "OwnWindow", would it be possible to make this configurable so that it can be set it to "AnyWindow" when exporting the course?

When exporting I would also like to be able to select if it is launched with in OwnWindow, or AnyWindow.
The setting in the player is not set to launch in a new window, but it is default to OwnWindow in the cmi5.xml file. Control over this when exporting would be helpful.Hi ElisandraSantos!
It sounds like you're looking for more control over how a Storyline package is launched within your LMS!
I see that you've also been working with my teammate Luiza through a support case. As she shared, the launchMethod property can be found in the cmi5.xml file. However, we want your published output to work smoothly in all environments, so we do not support modifying those files.
I'll open the floor to other folks in the community who may have discovered an approach to share with you here!
