I'm also having an issue with layers, but I'm not sure if it is the same as the OP's. My project is way tooooo big to attach, so I'm going to try to attach screenshots. When I create a new layer (using the icon in the slide layers panel OR using Insert Layer from the menu tabs), the new layer is a full slide, not just the "layer content". See screen shot 1. I've checked visibility in the timeline as suggested by Maria CS and all seems to be in order. See screen shot 2. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling StoryLine, and the problem persists. Not sure what I'm doing wrong?
