Layers set to 'Resume saved state' are not working properly
- 2 years ago
Hello everyone, 🎉
I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 91, we’ve included important fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed:
- When revisiting slides, object states, layers, animations, and audio started over, even if they were set to resume saved states
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
Do you know if this bug has returned in recent versions? I have a branching course and upon re-visitng a slide the objects do not resume their state (even though resume saved state' has been selected). Is there a version I can roll-back to where this bug does not exist? Thank you.
Hello Kassie,
I understand that when revisiting slides in your Storyline course, the correct revisited state for your objects is not being displayed, even though you have the Resume Saved State in place for your Slide Properties. I tested this in a sample file and can view the Resume Saved State behavior as expected. Happy to help!
- Where are you experiencing this behavior? I'm curious if this happens only in Preview/editing your course or in a published output!
- What are your current Player Properties settings set to in Resume?
- Is this happening with a specific object on your slide layer(s) or with all objects that are included?
As a first step, I'm curious if importing your existing slides into a brand new project file changes what you are experiencing.
If that doesn't seem to make any change, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your .story file in this thread or privately in a support case so we can continue troubleshooting!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
