Mac OSX - Another request for native app

I'm running a small business for which I plan on making full motion videos and click-by-click learning activities in SL.  I haven't used this product in years so I'm just doing the 30 test before I start to buy company licenses.  I would like to once again beg for a native MAC version, we got a copy of SL to run on VMWare Fusion, using a MacBook Air (M3 and m4 base model 8gb RAM).  but without the upgraded ram isn't not as fluid, snappy or responsive as a native windows machine.  Our company is small, we don't have budget for separate windows machines just for one app, nor do we want to replace our laptops with upgraded devices with more ram.  So we'll stick with VMWare + Windows 11...but we really really want to express how much easier/cheaper life would be for our company if we had a native Mac OSX compatible version.

    I wonder how many posts a month it would take to get them to get OSX apps.

    I completely agree. If there was a Mac subscription, I'd be very interested. If it was sold without a subscription, I'd probably buy it.

    I tried VMware Fusion. I could not get Articulate360 to pass through a port. I think 443. I'm jealous.

      Sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing Storyline.

      Storyline running in a Windows virtual machine still needs to be able to reach the required Articulate services over HTTPS (port 443), just like it would on a physical Windows PC. If you're using VMware Fusion, I recommend confirming that the Windows VM has unrestricted access to the required Articulate Network Endpoints. 

      Also, ensure that any firewalls, proxy servers, or security software (either on the Mac, within the Virtual Machine, or on your organization's network) aren't preventing that communication. Your IT team should be able to help verify those settings.

      In the meantime, I've added your voice to our feature request for a native Mac version of Storyline.
