Main Menu set up - in slide master best approach?
Hi All
I've set up my main menu in a slide master, on the recommendation of someone who knows Storyline pretty well.
He recommended setting it up, linking it and adding triggers in a slide layer instead of a normal slide so that users can click Menu on any content page, go to the menu, but also have the option to close out of the menu and return to the content screen they were at if they wish.
However, I can't figure out how to link the Close button on my slide master in a way that returns the user to the content screen they were on.
The way I've set it up is to set up the menu on a slide layer, then use that slide layer as the layout in a normal slide.
My friend is on leave at the moment though so I can't ask him this question - thought I'd turn here instead!
Attached is a part of my SL file, where you can see how this is set up.
Any advice on how I could deal with the close button would be much appreciated!
thanks :)

First of all, nice design.
In order for this to happen the way you are wanting. Then Menu layers need to be on the same Master layout that you are using for your content. Then the trigger for you menu is just a Show Layer Trigger (which would also need to be on that slide Master Layout). The your close button (on the layer in your Slide Master Layout) is just a close Layer trigger.
Using the Jump to slide option that you are currently using is not going to allow them to easily return to where you were, since the Master is global.
I hope that makes sense.
