Menu slide built in Articulate to work in Rise 360

I am building my first course in Rise, and I am constantly missing features of Storyline, so I end up building an interaction in Storyline and then embedding it to my course in Rise. In regards with this, I have a question, which I could not find answers to in the previous discussions. So, I built an interactive menu slide in Storyline and embedded it to my Rise course, but now I want to program the buttons created in Storyline to take learners to specific lessons in my Rise course, which are already built. Is this possible? I don't want to build them in Storyline again. If not, then I will know better next time that creating a menu slide with many buttons and connections is not a good solution for a Rise course, as it will mean building all the connections slides in Storyline as well to make it work, right?

  • Hello Maria,

    Happy to chime in!

Embedded Storyline 360 projects exist in Review 360, which is an entirely different tool from Rise 360. Because of this, there isn't a way to assign triggers in an embedded Storyline 360 block to interact with any sections of its parent Rise 360 course.

If your course requires learners to jump between sections, consider building it using just one platform instead.

  • Thank you for your answer, Jose. Yes, I ended up with the same conclusion, just was hoping that maybe there are ways around it which I did not know about.
