More question types
Are more question types going to be included? It seems that only a multiple-choice (single answer) option is available. Would be good to see multiple-choice (multiple answers) and sorting questions etc.

The new question types are released today. Looking forward to one more "Match" type as well.
Thanks RISE team. Keep up the good work...

Yep, it's here! This will be very useful for me ... and from the looks of this forum, for everyone!

Good news! Looking forward to have Multiple Response questions in Blocks as well.

Me too! I know we keep asking for the world but having each element/interaction within the block system would allow so much more flexibility. Thanks.
Hi Stuart,
We're looking at combining some of the prebuilt lesson types into a blocks lesson, and I know labelled graphic has been the most requested, and up next for our team to work on. I'll share the feedback about quizzing as well with our team.
In the meantime, perhaps the quiz could be the final lesson you use? You can add as many quiz questions as you'd like, and they'll all be tallied at the results screen.

Any additional details on question types yet? Thanks! :D
Hey Robert!
Great question :)
We did release a couple, multiple-response and fill-in-the-blank, in a recent release. Check out all the details on our Rise releases here and have fun checking those out.

Hi,
Looking forward to getting to know Rise better as I use it more. I'm wondering if I have the right understanding on the differences between the Knowledge Check and Quiz blocks:
A Knowledge Check block is best for when the goal is to give learners the opportunity to informally gauge their knowledge before they move onto additional instruction. This type of block cannot be graded or tracked via an LMS.
A Quiz block, by contrast, is an opportunity for the learner to truly test their knowledge and receive a score. Only one Quiz block is trackable via an LMS per Rise course, right? Is there a way around this in Rise?
Thanks for setting me straight!
AshleyHey Ashley!
That's correct! The knowledge checks are not graded, and won't be included in your score that is passed to the LMS.
If you'd like to track a users' answers towards a passing/failing score - use the Quiz lesson type, and then choose that quiz result as you tracking option for your LMS.

Thanks, Leslie. Is there any way to track more than one Quiz block via LMS in a Rise course?

What I'd like to do is be able to use the Sort block as a quiz, also be able to include other Quiz blocks in the same Rise course, and be able to track all of these via LMS. If anyone has stumbled upon a way to do this, I'm all ears. :D
I apologize Ashley (I knew I missed something), but you will be able to choose one for tracking in your LMS. You can have multiple quizzes within your course, but only one quiz result can be sent to the LMS.

Apologies if I have missed this in one of the forums, but is it possible to use audio files in Rise quizzes? I can see image and even heavy videos files can be added. Many of my intended test questions require audio (I develop content for language training).
Hi Grahame,
No apologies needed and that's a great question. Looks like you found the options available to you, images and videos.
For your example I can see why audio would be important to you and I'll share this suggestion as a feature request.
In the meantime, you can check out this article to see where you can use those audio files if needed.
Hi Tracey,
A knowledge check allows you to add an image or video file, or embed something from the web as a part of the question.
It doesn't have the setting to randomize as a Quiz does though.
Let me know if you need anything else!
